Chulísimos, y aunque no lo parezca en momentos del juego, tiene situaciones muy variadas. Me gustaría que obligaran más a cambiar de equipamiento

I got a bug and I couldn't even start the first actual mission which is sad

i love metro and i love the remaster as well and i have never found that i was claustrophobic untill now XD

Fantastic game, top notch immersion.

Amazing remasters of two amazing games. Couldn't recommend this series enough. Seems insanely overlooked and underappreciated despite being one of the best FPS and survival horror games out there.

Fantastic remastered collection of one of the seventh generation's best cult series. The DLC are collectively uninteresting, but I appreciate their inclusion regardless. Absolutely worthwhile for folks interested in jumping into the series.

Could not get into. The shooting mechanics felt unsatisfying and just had no will to continue.

Looking at Metro REDUX as a whole, it's impossible not to feel a little aggrieved at what was essentially a generational trade-off : "Here, we'll take S.T.A.L.K.E.R.'s freedom off your hands and give you vivid AAA background craft instead." Polished but diminutive.

2033 is considerably better than the weaker campaign of Last Light, but both games are incredibly solid in terms of atmosphere and gameplay.

Metro 2033 is the better of the two games, but it was a slog to get through either one. Didn't complete Last Light.

Metro 2033: A great FPS that introduces a fantastic setting, but suffers a bit from it's age nowadays. Still holds up, but nothing exceptional.

Metro Last Light on the other hand, improves on every aspect of 2033 and then some. There were mechanics that still surprised me in 2023, for a game that's a decade old. I love the world that has been created here, and it's thrilling to experience the gameplay inside of that world. The Story is nothing to write home about, but that doesn't matter when you're sneaking past bad guys in the metros.

This remaster collection thing is absolutely amazing! Mostly because I'm playing Metro 2033 for the first time and am absolutely loving it but for the most part, amazing collection! It's been a bit since I played Last Light, but I remember not liking it. But that's because I thought it'd be more like Last Of Us. Now that I'm playing Metro 2033 (not for a Last Of Us experience), I'm getting the same feeling I felt while playing Last Of Us! But, now I wanna play Last Light again... shit....

P.S, This gets 5 stars for 2033 alone. That game is fucking fantastic

only things i can complain about is the voice acting, the implementation of how the morality system works and the direction that Last Light goes (more action-oriented than survival horror) BUT i love these games too much to criticise them too harshly, especially when the dev team is so passionate about this franchise

really good and fun games, haven't started metro last light yet but metro 2033 was amazing, i loved playing it, the atmosphere was great and i think the gameplay was pretty good too, my only complain is that some of the enemies were annoying to deal at some areas, at least near the start of the game but otherwise? there isn't much i can say, story was kinda weird but honestly everything else was pretty good that i didn't mind it. would seriously recommend it.

A very interesting world, but few chances to experience it outside of shooting arenas

Metro Redux is essentially an HD remaster package of two (PS3/360) games Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light. These games are heavily influenced by the best selling novel Metro 2033 by Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky. (I have yet to read it though plan on reading both it and it's sequel Metro 2034 after playing these great games.)

The basic premise for the series is that in 2013 there was a nuclear war that essentially ended human civilization as we know it. Russia has been turned into a land of the dead with radiation and mutant creatures having taken dominance. The sole human survivors were 40,000 people that fled into the deepest parts of Moscow's Metro carving out little settlements at each station, scavenging on the surface for anything of use to survive.

You play the role of one such survivor called Artyom 20 years later in both games. The series plays as a mixture of survival horror and a flat out first person shooter. There is a great variety of weapons to choose from including standard revolvers, shotguns, and rifles to more scavenged built air powered rifles that fire balled bearings.

Ammo for these guns will largely be found through exploration around the dilapidated buildings, corpses and railcars in the Metro. In the quiet moments between when in some of the metro station towns gas masks filters, ammo, guns can all be purchased as well as upgraded with different scopes and barrels.

These quiet moments are some of the series best parts with lots of dialogue between settlers to listen to, describing their lives in the metro, their worries, their fears. It's a fascinating insight into this dystopian society that brings life to the otherwise dead world.

The visuals to both games are fantastic with some beautiful lighting, and fantastic art and environment design. I understand they have both had a visual upgrade, especially 2033 though having never played either I can't give any details to the differences but the games look good regardless.

The voice acting is also of high quality, especially the character Pavel in Last Light. There is one issue though in that a couple of the voice actors are used repeatedly as some of the background characters or soldiers which gets quite repetitive.

Metro Redux is nothing if not value for money, two full games including all of Last Light's added mission pack downloadable content adding up to a good thirty hours of gameplay, more if you aim for the platinum trophies.

To sum up this is a fantastic collection with interesting narrative, great atmosphere, fun weapons as well as some genuinely freaky moments. If you haven't played these games I recommend you do.

+ Sorrowful dystopian atmosphere.
+ Excellent visuals, art design.
+ Compelling dialogue in the station towns.
+ Great value for money.

- Some overly used voice actors for many parts.

Two fantastic games with a rich story and world that's easy to lose yourself in.

In an oversaturated market loaded with post apocalyptic games the metro series stands out as one of the highlights. The fun mechanics of the game compared with the rich story and world building set up for an amazing game. Replayability is an issue though in certain parts of the game, but overall both metro games are amazing and being able to get both with all dlc, and remastered for the price of one boosts the rating to a strong 4 stars
