Three incredible games in one, plus Prime 2's multiplayer mode. I don't know what more you could ask for (other than Hunters maybe), but this is phenomenal. This is the best way to control these games, too (at least officially). I will never stop talking about these games.

I feel bad for anyone who didn't pick up this collection on the Wii U Eshop for the insane steal price of $20, you know, for 3 of the BEST GAMES EVER MADE!
Excellent trilogy of some of the finest video games I've ever played. I especially love it as a package because each game approaches progression and world design a bit differently, giving them their own strong identity while still being Metroid Prime at their core.
The controls take a steady hand and some getting used to but when you adapt they're perfect! The Wii Remote has the precision of a mouse and keyboard and almost all the buttons easily in reach for making quick actions. It feels like the games were made for this controller, or this controller was made for games like them! Try to use Advanced Sensitivity, it makes turning a lot easier.
My biggest criticisms are with the options and extras. Options are very limited, Metroid Prime Remastered definitely puts this collection to shame with how much customization it gave you. You can't even use a GameCube Controller in this.
The extras are almost good but have weird oddities, like some unlocks costing tokens that required online friends to get.
Also weird omissions, like the soundtrack selection which only includes some tracks, not even all of the most iconic ones. Stuff like the main Torvus Bog theme aren't there but some forgettable cutscene music is, I know it's a trivial thing to get hung up on but it just confuses me lol.

I love all three of these games :)
I can't stress this enough how much Nintendo has to re-release the Metroid Prime Trilogy collection. These games rival, heck are even better, than the giant FPS games. The amount of environmental, silent storytelling, the lore, the fantastic gameplay, the exploration, everything is beautiful. These games deserved to be ported or remastered on modern Nintendo platforms so that everyone can play these gems. If you haven't played them already, I heavily recommend, you will have an amazing time. Don't worry about not liking FPS games, because this one will suck you in right from the beginning.

The Prime series is always going to be some of my favourites in the Metroid saga they perfectly encapsulates the gameplay of the traditional 2D games and translates it to 3D and the music oh my gawd its like angels singing in my ears all the reprises of older song titles or straight up new bangers ill never not love the Metroid soundtrack.

I have my gripes with the prime games but i mean come the fuck on this is an aggressively good deal.

Prime 2 really takes a while to get good (and by then you're almost done with the game), and Prime 3 is pretty decent and could've served as a good conclusion to the Prime series.
Alas, Prime 4 is still (hopefully) cooking over at Retro, so I'm happy to say that I can now join the bandwagon in waiting for any news to come

although i am far from being metroid prime 2's biggest fan, the value of this game is unreal. during the wii u days, you could get three metroid prime games for just $20. really puts it into perspective nowadays. unfortunately the wii u eshop is no more, but to those who managed to get this on there before it shut down, rest easy knowing you're one of the lucky souls

The re-spawning enemies gets very tiring. Running backwards and forwards in the same area gets very repetitive. I played the PC mod of Metroid Prime and chucked it after being unable to do the half-pipe mechanic.
WOW WOW WOW what an excellent trilogy. These were the first Metroid games that I have ever played through and I'm glad I started with the Prime trilogy. The extra dimension adds so much depth to the world and its gameplay. So much atmosphere is conveyed here.
And the games all aged so well! They still look incredible and are hella addicting, although some design decisions seem outdated by today's standards (scarce saving rooms for instance).
The Prime games are also similar enough to be called a series but at the same time different enough that every entry is distinct and unique, which I love.

This collection is perfect if you love strafing back and forth for 45 hours
One of the rare examples of a remaster collection I'd call damn near "essential." Three great-to-amazing games made even better thanks to the motion controls, with plenty of extra content as well. Until the latter two Prime games get remastered for Switch (and so long as they are proper remasters and not straight ports), this may as well be the definitive way to play these games as of right now.

Es muy raro ver que Nintendo se preste para realizar ediciones especiales de sus juegos más memorables. Afortunadamente lo ha comenzado a hacer y la saga de Metroid Prime que comenzó en la Game Cube ha sido la elegida. Metroid Prime Trilogy llega a la Wii, reuniendo las aventuras de la cazarrecompensas más hermosa del universo en un disco de doble capa para que las podamos disfrutar con uno de los mejores controles que se han creado para jugar en primera persona. Es una excelente opción para todos aquellos que se perdieron de las dos primeras partes en la caja de Nintendo y quieren continuar con el excelente Corruption. Metroid Prime ha demostrado ser un digno exponente del género y ha entregado una de las mejores experiencias en primera persona que se pueden ver en la actualidad, conjugando una historia envolvente, una jugabilidad llena de acción y un nivel de exploración y acertijos que solo pueden ser comparados con la emblemática saga de The Legend of Zelda. Metroid Prime Trilogy es una excelente excusa para comenzar a conocer más a fondo la historia de la poderosa Samus Aran y su lucha incesante en contra de los Metroids.
Kind of cheating, but since this gives all prime games with the controls of Prime 3, I feel its worth it for the package.
