Não tem nem comparação com o antecessor, chega a ser ridículo o quanto melhoraram de um jogo para o outro, simplesmente pegaram a melhor parte do anime e fizeram um dos melhores jogos de luta que já joguei.

Transformar a campanha em um jogo de ação/aventura provavelmente foi a melhor ideia que tiveram, ficou infinitamente melhor que aquele sistema de missões do anterior, o jogo em si é muito bonito, a trilha sonora é muito boa e as mecânicas de combate já funcionavam muito bem. Aumentaram a quantidade de lutas cinemáticas, também melhorando elas com quick-time events que são realmente desafiadores em algumas partes, mas funcionam muito bem com as lutas. A única coisa que achei estranha no jogo é que o pacing da história me pareceu um pouco rushado demais, o que não é necessariamente uma coisa ruim, já que o jogo vai direto ao ponto na parte de ação e progressão no plot principal, e também deve ser difícil traduzir mais ou menos 170 / 180 episódios em um jogo só.

No geral, um marco para a saga Ultimate Ninja Storm e para os jogos de anime como um todo.

Any fan of the source material will have fun playing through the recreations of iconic moments in the series. The level of quality in those cinematic clashes is quite astounding, and the visual fidelity to recreate the art style in a dynamic 3D environment is a treat for the eyes. This game, and the others in the series, are probably the best that Naruto has ever looked.

The gameplay is also quite solid, with each character feeling unique due to their own abilities and playstyles. As a singleplayer experience though, the AI lacks much challenge, and the side content is very barebones and unengaging. I never tried out the multiplayer, but I have heard it is a great 3D fighting game.

It's a worthwhile game to play through to see the crazy fights from the anime realized in gorgeous 3D animation, and while there is depth in the combat system, outside of mmultiplayer, there isn't much on offer that really engages. Any fan of the anime or manga will enjoy this, and non-fans might learn to enjoy the series, though it's best to experience the narrative in those other formats rather than this one.

I played this game for the first time on my PlayStation 3. Now I have experienced the PC version again in 1080p 60 FPS. And I made a good choice. Ninja Storm 2 tells a fairly large part of Naruto Shippuden in terms of the story. As in Ninja Storm 1, it almost accurately reflects the battle scenes we are familiar with from the anime. I said almost, because some of them describe scenes either briefly or with small changes. Of course, it's not big changes, so don't doubt about it. The fighting mechanics are not much different from Ninja Storm 1, of course, it also has more characters and more jutsu. In the story, unlike the first game, you find the equipment materials that you can use in battles on the game's map yourself. I would say that it has more boring side missions than the first game (at least the mini-game-style side missions from the first game could be put back). Also, the damage you take after the fights you make in the story also stays in your next fight, which seemed like an unnecessary feature to me. My advice is to just take the necessary health and a few skill-boosting ingredients and rush the story. As a result, if you want to experience many iconic fights in Shippuden, play Ninja Storm 2.
