NIVA is a gorgeous game. I don't play many pacifistic games, but when I do, I seem to always have a good time. I played this on my old crappy computer that I had years ago, so it didn't load the textures and sometimes I'd glitch through walls. Despite that, I felt myself get immersed in the world. I almost fell asleep too, which was a good thing in this case. Play it! I recommend it. I know I'll replay it soon.
