Played with the girlfriend like any normal gamer would. Didnt like it, she loved it. It breaks you down, but we beat it.

Overcooked is a good game, I just don’t really like it. My fiancé on the other hand loves it and makes me play it with her. I’m just not a big fan of the stress of it but I can see it’s well put together with unique levels and a silly art style. I’ll even admit I did have some fun when I wasn’t stressed as heck.

Overcooked is a good game for local co-op, every time I played it with my friends it was always very funny and chaotic. It never got me hooked to complete it but I don't see that as a negative point. I think the game is the perfect definition of simple and fun, something that in my opinion some recent games have failed.

As you play, you unlock playable characters and levels to play against friends. The story mode becomes more difficult with each zone. There are a couple levels that felt unfair with two players. One in particular felt like you needed three.

But overall, fun game to play with friends.
