I would be lying if I said I didn't have fun traveling from island to island with friends, but the impermanence of so many of your accomplishments consistently makes me wonder what the point of what we're doing is. Travel around in your ship to get money to upgrade your ship to travel around doesn't seem like the most complex system but the lack of it means that assuming you don't have a lot of treasure on board, you don't really care about your ship or even if you get attacked. If I could have a version of this game with this game's great navigation that requires actual communication, but with more use for money than buying shinier eyepatches I think I would love it.
