This game will always mean a lot to me. along with naruto, it defined my middle school years. This game is a fun adventure. i always thought of it like if one piece was an mmo. When i think of it that way, pirate101 is easily my favorite piece of media relating to pirates. The storyline is a bunch of goose chases, but it was enough to make my formative years happy. In 2021, i finished the game for the first time, as i didn't have enough money in middle school to play for more than six months (membership based). I sit here typing this with a feeling of melancholy and nostalgia welling in my gut. Having experienced this game both as a kid as well as an adult, i can safely say that while pirate101 isn't the best game i ever played, it's not a game that i will outgrow anytime soon. i'm going to miss it.
Its fine but I never really got too into it
Was very exciting when this came out. Crowns model was a bit rougher for Pirate101, and although the storyline was interesting and ship combat was cool, companion management got tiresome and took too long to travel places. Support also wasn't there vs. Wizard101. Still, a fun time for however long I played it for.

Marginally worse Wizard101. Ship mechanics weren't really that good.
Dead game but still peak
I absolutely love this game, however with the LACK of updates, and dying playerbase, it's hard to still ENJOY this game as much as I did. BUT STILL very fun & addicting!!
play wiz instead if you want to play an mmo
Fucking amazing and my favorite MMO of all time (although, a lot of that is pure biased due to nostalgia). The story is great, the worlds and music are wonderful, the gameplay is addicting, etc. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because of how poorly it has been treated by Kingsisle. Sad!
