i was kinda pokemon'd out when this came out. maybe i'll revisit it! it's kinda slow, though.
I know that the theme for the Crown Tundra is exploration, which is what people wanted, but did that really have to be... it? You're kind of just hunting down and catching legendaries with little to no fanfare. You'd think something would happen once you catch all of the literal fucking titans that shaped the Earth, but all you get is some flavor text from Papa Peony.
I like the small bit of story there is, everything involving Calyrex, which is why I can't help but wish there was more of it.
Huge fan of Dynamax Raids, definitely my favourite inclusion, some of the most fun multiplayer Pokemon content there is.

This is everything I wanted in an open world Pokemon game. Here's a map, a few objectives, now go. It was wonderful. Windward approved.

Excellent DLC. Lots of good exploration & legends to catch. It's def the best part of the SW/SH game. I love Calyrex & his big noggin, I would die for him.
The best mode in Pokemon sword and shield. its a bit mediocre still but catching the legendary Pokemon is fun and theres some great characters.

the blueprint for PLA and SCARVI and everything it got wrong is literally because its stuck in swsh
this one fuckin rocks. new area and pokémon are TIGHT, the returning pokémon are way better and it makes solo completing the dex way easier. the story is also actually good somehow? and the new minigame is loads of fun.
It was a pretty nice DLC! The 3 galarian birds were so hard to catch OML
