it's interesting but, to me, it doesn't really work. the card swiping choices mechanic fit much better thematically in the original game, being a monarch sitting on a throne making decisions. here I suppose you're still sitting on a throne—the captain's chair—but it still seems out of place for the sense of adventure they're going for. it all feels pretty lackluster.

I really enjoyed the first couple hours. Unfortunately this game quickly becomes very repetitive, with the exact same cards popping up over and over again. This even happens during space battles. There's little direction to see anything different.

Tip! You can choose a different destination by sliding the screen when leaving a planet. I don't know if it actually helps, good luck.
