Impressive UI design but not much else.
imagine having the entire corpus of human literature and history at your disposal, deciding the most anyone could ever creatively aspire to match is R*wling, and then not even fucking getting any semblance of good presentation or execution for this.

This game is incredibly charming, with its realistic representations of different cultures in the voice acting and languages spoken. The story also seemed very intriguing, I wonder how far they will take it
But... I couldn't get far in the story because the gameplay was just so stale. Even with auto mode, there are some fights where you have to manually control and those are just incredibly boring and luck-based. I don't feel any satisfaction from making big plays or anything. Man, I really wanted to love it though

it may be sound weird . but i'm shocked how GREAT the game turn out . i jump to it ready to skip dialogues cause its gacha game . and most of them have bad story . but since the first 5 mins i got attached to it . what do i say the art style are GREATLY BEAUTIFUL and voice acting made me listen to every voice line i see . every character have it own accent ( Russian . french . Australian . uk .... etc though i wish there was Arabic character in there since they but every region i guess ) . i think i'm now in version 1.4 all i have to say is the game great . i will keep playing it

started it because the story interested me, was not disappointed with any other part of it, just a genuinely really great story, great characters, great gameplay, really fun overall, also really generous for a gacha game it feels very fair

Every single event has so much information on it, and seems so well studied that makes me feel like someone cares about history and studying. It's starting to become home to me.

I started this game the day is released and kept up with it for a few months but it just didn't click with me. I do appreciate the art style, music (it fits right in to the time period it's set in), and voice acting with accents though.

Apesar de uns probleminhas de tradução no idioma inglês(o qual estou usando para jogar) e por ser gacha(maioria é um caça-níquel podre), Reverse: 1999 é um bom achado com uma boa história(ou boas histórias já que acompanhamos vários personagens além da protagonista) e direção de arte impecável. O sistema de gacha é bom e a gameplay às vezes pode ser desafiadora. O trabalho de voz é excelente. Tem futuro.
Held back by a poor translation and an awkward pacing. The story could have been incredibly engaging if it was a bit more clear what the story was trying to say.
Unique on the surface but beyond its presentation it's just a below average gacha experience.
It's have great story and overall aesthetic and design. Combat is fun even if it isn't something new. However events feels really forced because even while stories and fights are nice, the rest of them are usually some mini games and long boring grind.

got boring after a while. 'tis a game about going back in time and now i know that if i had to go back in time I wouldn't waste my time on this
It was okay, story didn't grab me that much and combat was kinda fun, I didn't really like it too much though. Best part was the apple with a tie tho. 5/10
