SpyHunter for the Gamecube is a blast from the past, reigniting the thrilling vehicular combat of its arcade predecessor. The G-6155 Interceptor is a joy to control, effortlessly morphing between car, boat, and motorcycle to adapt to the dynamic missions. While the campaign can feel short and the visuals haven't aged flawlessly, the fast-paced action, explosive weaponry, and iconic Peter Gunn theme deliver a nostalgic punch that's tough to beat.
Something I think most people would miss playing Spy Hunter today is how impressive the vehicle transformations and some of the enviromental interactions must have been on release.
It's a shame that the game starts grinding your balls and making you do almost every goal in every level halfway through though, especially since you need to do a perfect run of a level for the goals you missed the first time around to count.
