I just can't fathom how this game can be so much fun while everything about it at first glance points otherwise in my opinion.
The secret scavenger hunt is so infuriating when you missed 1... it reminds me of older games.
Good ambience, astonishingly beautiful environments. Cheesy and funny. Play it coop and you'll have a blast... maybe. Don't quote me on that, maybe you are a Pokémon fan and like ugly games.

Alright , I have to preface this by saying that I am a primarily singleplayer type of gamer. I like multiplayer games too, I have played most of the good ones.
Unfortunately this is not a good multiplayer game, my friends got bored really quickly. And i tried to carry on in singleplayer.
And strange brigade is extremely trash in single player.
The story is just generic garbage to give you a reason to shoot zombie thingies. The background lore is painfully boring and the valiant effort from the in game narrator only becomes an irritation.
The gunplay is solid, does the job sounds punchy and all that. But the enemies offer nothing, your characters offer nothing and strange brigade bleeds into generic looter shooter category quickly.
In game icons and markers are ridiculously bad and can be more confusing than helpful and its really difficult to see this game to its end. I rarely ever quit a game, but damn this did not feel playable unless I was 8 years old again with the lowest standards in gaming from a bygone era.
I know im being very harsh, but I really dont want any person to waste their time trying to have a singleplayer experience here. Heck even for multiplayer, this has to be the last game available post apocalypse in that genre (hyperbole, but not by much) to be recommended.

Horribly balanced for the hardest difficulty. Even starting with the OP DLC characters and weapons (tommy gun), there are some enemies that are incredibly annoying to deal with (rooftop spear throwers) or HP tanks that one shot you (charging dude). When the hardest content of the game was them throwing multiple charging dudes at you and not the final boss, I knew this game was going be one of the games of all time.
Completed as a single player campaign. Neither amazing nor terrible, this game is just good mindless fun. It’s definitely a guilty pleasure that I enjoy returning to. There’s a decent amount of enemy variety, though the level design at times is quite repetitive. The 1930s Egypt setting has a similar vibe to The Mummy (1999). And who doesn't love The Mummy?
