A quite simple yet very charming puzzle game, following 7 characters with 3 character being actually playable, and said characters deciding which character specific puzzles you need to solve.

It isn't the most revolutionary game ever, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's an overall solid experience and I'd recommend anyone play it.

i used to play this with my mom

A fun premise for sure, but I just couldn't surmount those puzzles.

Not nearly as funny as it thinks it is.

i wanted to play this so bad as a kid i didnt know i hated adventure games yet

super fun and quirky game. just veryyyyy repetitive if you wanna get different endings.

Very cool!! it just sucks that is really repetitive to get all the endings

This was a reasonably fun one- an early game from the PlayStation Plus freebies that I went all the way through and had a good time with. The characters and puzzles were pretty unique and the game didn’t overstay its welcome. Double Fine has always put out some really cool stuff and this game in particular really seemed to slip under the radar. It’s a quality time if you like puzzles.

Beautiful game. I liked the characters (in particular the twins and the monk) and the artstyle was so good. The humor is enjoyable.

There is so much charm in this, but it's weighed down so much by inexplicable design choices, there is no fun in replaying sections you have already been through, and yet you are forced to complete no less than 3 playthroughs if you want to see all the content (more to get all the endings), replaying the most tedious sections of the game each time. I quit my third playthrough as soon as I finished the last new character section and just looked up the story bits online. Why did they make it such a damn chore to enjoy what is good about this game?

its pretty neat. cool characters. decent puzzles. interesting concepts in areas. pretty fun to see how the characters interact for puzzles in different ways. it has a spot in my heart, even if it probably doesnt deserve to be there.

A pretty good adventure/puzzle game. Lots of fun characters, but a bit of a slog to get through, like most of its kind.

Cuando lo jugué me dio la impresión de que les habían quedado muchas ideas en el tintero. Es un juego de los que envejecen mal.

El manejo es un coñazo. Tiene buenas ideas. Se le nota el paso del tiempo.

The Cave is a simple platformer/puzzler game in the vain of The Lost Vikings. You chose three of the seven characters to play. You have to use each character to figure out the puzzles of each section of the cave. Each character has their own area that is part of the story which was a nice touch. The story is cute, music good, and graphics serviceable. Over all it was a fun game but nothing amazing. Great game for kids.

It's amazing going through each story and at first, you naturally want to root for the character you're playing, but then you slowly realize that they're all horrible people who deserved what they got.

Played a long time ago, so i'll have to replay it, but as i remember, it was amazing, very fun, and very immersive.

great puzzle, also better in my opinion if you play it with someone else. loved the character roster as well!

back when i played this game (2013, 2014 maybe?), i never really played any other games than battlefield or fifa. this shit opened my eyes, i loved how you could find pieces of your character story throughout the map, which now i definitely recognize it has that Double fine charm all over it. Actually this is the first double fine game i ever played, but didnt know that back then, nonetheless i loved it for the same reasons i love any df game <3

Recommended only if you got someone to play with CO-OP and also with gamepads!

Very interesting puzzle, nothing else.

Wonderful game, expecially if played with two friends. I literally loved everything from the characters (all of them are unique with their stories, but my favorite is the monk) to the artstyle and humor.

Interesting puzzle adventure game that was really unique, but a lot of the puzzles were too abstract to fully understand. I practically played this game with a walkthrough open.

f only this game was a little more creativity in it's puzzles rather than try to make their own character's unique; the overall experience of this game would have been far better. Instead the Cave opted out for comedy, and while it's a noble pursuit, it just made the game suffer from lack of diversity when it comes to gameplay. Don't get me wrong though, The Cave was a fun outing for what it was, but it's not something I'd play again, even if that means finding out the different characters backstories.
