This game is very weird; it's strange for the sake of it, and I liked that. The graphics were good looking for a 99s myst clone, the puzzles were novel and I really liked the short story format. However, the gameplay loop, especially the camera effect, didn't do it for me. It might have been the way I played (Emulation) but the game was very glitchy too; never crashing outright, but being very slow and freezing for a few seconds every now and again. Overall though, very cool little Myst clone.

I know I've made a review here previously, wanted to update my thoughts on this game.
It's still my favorite game, it's fantastic, just my issues with it are starting to come through.

It really struggles in terms of its pacing (it moves SO FAST) and just feels like a game that if you didn't do any deep diving into it, you would probably feel let down? Its ending is especially a let down, but don't let that stop you from playing it.

Even more disappointingly, it seems the game was going to end differently from what I've seen of the concept art. So now it's become a thing for me of "oh my god it could have been so much better, what?!"

I still think it's a beautiful game though, with a lot to say on people's flaws and human nature, with the cast all being extremely interesting if you dive into it. Just definitely not a game for the average person. Like, seriously. I've wasted the past 7 months of my life thinking about this game, it's absurd. I always find something new to analyze about it. and really wish I could go into it more without accidentally writing a 30 page essay. This is definitely one of the most convoluted games I've played in my life.

If you think this game is bad I recommend Armed and Delirious.

A complete and total mindfuck of a game that just left me more and more confused as I went on playing it. This game requires TONS of thought around its story and the events. Has a great soundtrack and an interesting set of characters with their own flaws. With its dark, somewhat psychological horror-esque moments and deep, thoughful story I think this is one of if not the most unique point and click adventure game I've played ever.

To note: If you're visiting this and were confused as hell by the game's story, check this thread out. It clears up a lot of the stuff in the game.
