Ever since I played 'The Secret of Monkey Island' on my first PC as a kid, I’ve been a huge fan of point ‘n’ click adventures. Unfortunately, this genre is pretty rare these days, so every time I come across one, I immediately jump on it – just like I did with 'Tokyo Dark'.
I went in completely blind, I had no idea about the story, and all in all, I wasn’t disappointed, however, even after getting all the endings, I must admit, I still don’t understand all elements of the plot. Maybe it’s just me, but I found it extremely complex with a few plot holes here and there… or I just didn’t find all the clues, I don’t know.
Anyway, the soundtrack was amazing, I loved the main character, and blending visual novels with point ‘n’ click gameplay worked really well here in my opinion. There are many different endings, so there’s definitely some replay value, too. The puzzles could have been a bit more challenging, though.
If you’re a fan of mystery crime stories, you should give this one a try.

This game had a lot of potential honestly but the fact the Steam version is still broken after so long is ridiculous. Every time the location changes the screen flickers to a painful degree and sprites would spawn at the top and drop down into place.
It had some interesting mechanics and the plot seemed decent but after a couple hours my headache said it was time to stop.
