It gives a dark and grim atmosphere from the very first moment it starts. The puzzles are logical and can be solved by reasoning, an adventure game that you can return to from time to time.

Love the art in this game, it definitely lives up to the promise of its Beksinski/Giger influences. The writing isn't quite as strong unfortunately, but it doesn't get in the way too much. The puzzles feel like they're in the sweet spot for adventure game puzzles, engaging enough that you're not bored, but not too much of a roadblock to seeing the next piece of cool art. Solid adventure game over all.

Really cool looking point and click, but the puzzles and logic are all very simple and straightforwards. Lots of very contrived and dumb moral dilemmas that are silly. Good atmosphere, not very good writing.
Another game I often mind myself drawn back to. Top notch art, with fairly nostalgic point n' click mechanics. If that type of gameplay isn't your thing... I'd still recommend giving this game a try just for the beautiful art and ambiance. Very good puzzles, though I wish there was a way to make it more difficult for the point n' click veterans.

You could stare at every screen in this game for hours on end, and still be finding new details to enjoy. All the creature designs are otherworldly and hellish. The gameplay is fine, it exists to navigate you around this is eye candy.
