Beautiful art, and amazing voice acting!

Look I understand they had rules to follow bc of the jam, but this was so boring that I fell asleep

ele gostou do tapa... interesting reaction...

✔️ Played it on Steam Deck and it works fine (10/12/2022). You need to use touch screen for the title screen but for the game itself the A button works fine to advance text.

Too short game, but considering it was created in just a few days for a game jam it looks pretty decent. The art is good, the voice acting nails it and the character looks kinda charismatic even with the short dialogues.

it's an O2A2 game jam game so it is deliberately short with limited assets, but it makes excellent use of those limitations and is a unique experience. Fun voice acting! Good enough to make you want more.

The Jester is hot.

Wish there would be a longer version with more story but as it stands you can complete this in just a couple of minutes. It's just a depraved little snippet with a crazy but good-looking guy.

Look, usually I'm very nice to Game Jam games, but this time...

Trapped with Jester is a short visual novel where the main character wakes up in a carriage with a stranger. You guessed it, he's a jester. But he's weird and keeps talking about you summoning him... What could it possibly mean?

I won't tell you more, because the novel is extremely short: I've got all of the endings and achievements after 6 minutes of play-time. And this is what rubbed me in a wrong way. The novel doesn't tell you much, nothing really happens. Even for a Jam game that's too short, I'm sorry. I understand that there's not that much time, but you could at least write a longer dialogue between the two main characters, or maybe give some background without creating new backgrounds and/or sprites.

At least it looks nice, and the jester is fully voiced. But I don't think it's really worth playing.

UPD: Okay, now I know that the rules of the Jam were that the novel should only have 1000 words or less, also there's a challenge to use only 1 sprite, 1 background, and 1 music track. (Thank you again Anta for telling me that!) This explains a lot, but I still don't want to recommend the novel. I wouldn't be honest if I said that I liked it ¯\(ツ)
