It's another Commodore 64 game I played while at Little Tokyo, and it appears I am the first to review this one too.
This one is just a super basic football game (or soccer for you Americans), and thankfully this one worked with the Commodore 64's Atari controller... but only on Port 2. These things were really jank back in the day, huh. Only two players move at a time (not including the goalie) which makes things a little awkward as your teammates just kind of stand there while you do all the hard work. There's also a free kick mode that is just ok, but the goalie sucks at catching the balls so there's really no point in practicing.
It's a fine enough game, you can get a decent amount of enjoyment from it and the music isn't terrible but not exactly memorable either.
You really only play this for the novelty of it.

The game lets you know what controller you're playing by changing the color of your guy's shirt. If you're playing as Spain or Germany, it's pretty noticeable as it goes from dark red to bright pink or white to dark grey. However, things get finnicky real quick sometimes as a result of this. Because the lighter shade of France's players looks an awful lot like Mexico's normal color, which can make it pretty disorienting sometimes. Just don't pick similar colors.
