One of the first indie puzzle games on the Nintendo eShop that I played, I frankly had a blast with it. Wholly unique, cute, and at times somewhat disturbing. Using your goo balls to construct elaborate bullshit devices but having enough to make it to the ending is both compelling and a chill experience. The presentation, music, and aesthetics sell it even harder. It's just a really good puzzle game.
Review in progress:
World of Goo is a fairly enjoyable physics-based puzzle game with nice artwork.
Limiting the availability of the remastered version to Netflix subscribers on mobile platforms is incredibly distasteful. I know that Netflix probably offered Tomorrow Corporation a good deal, but that doesn't excuse their actions. I would've been happy to pay for a remastered version on Steam. It's especially hypocritical coming from a company whose game portfolio almost entirely revolves around "corporations bad".
