It wasn't too bad. You have a lot more cars available now compared to the previous iteration. Aside from that, I honestly don't remember much from the game aside from that fact that I just simply didn't like it as much as 6.
Anyways, the game would age poorly in today's standards anyways. The controls were simply not implemented well back then and we only put up with it because we were kids.
Also, did NFS : Heat get their name from this game?
