The thing with Blood Stone, is that the gameplay is actually great. It plays well, really well even, and the shooting is very satisfying. The problem is that the AI barely functions, the cover mechanic can be annoying, and the plot is completely insane. The game gets so wild that you have to see it to believe it, it's turns into goddamn Ragnarok at times.
the shooting is way too easy, driving sequences are more annoying than anything. overall a fine 7 hour experience but feels like a game that they would play on a tv show
This is a very average and forgettable shooting/stealth game. I don't exactly look back upon my experience with it fondly.
This is a 007 spinoff starring Daniel Craig. Unfortunately I no longer remember the plot to this game because I honestly didn't really care about it back then (I still don't now). I just played it because hey! It's 007!
In terms of gameplay, this isn't Goldeneye. In other words, there's nothing I feel revolutionary with this game. In fact, I find the gunplay just like many other 3rd person shooter game at the time. I call it "duck and cover". Yeah, you shoot for a bit and then duck behind a cover. I didn't really have much of an impression of the gunplay simply because it was just too average. The controls were exactly the same, nothing special.
I do remember hating the driving segment. The cars control like absolute shit and I don't see any reason how anyone could have enjoyed those driving segments. The last part where you chase the Koenigsegg was exceptionally terrible.
