the most impact this game will have on me is realizing how good sticks the badger is

A massive improvement over it's predecessor. Lacks a lot in ambition but it succeeds very well in said lacking ambition. A fun and comfortable journey that lacks impact.

shattered crystal but better. you dont have to explore if you dont want to in this one but i found the act of exploring to be more fun than not. the fire/ice gimmick can make for some somewhat challenging platforming on occasion but the game isn't punishing at all and ultimately is more of the same.

A lot of improvements over Shattered Crystal that made Fire and Ice a playable, enjoyable and decently made title.

It took them a minute or so, but this is the best game to come from the Sonic Boom series! Really enjoyed the mechanics and memorizing the layouts ala Unleashed style.
