Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle is a great spiritual sequel to Blue Wizard Digital's previous game Slayaway Camp, finally getting the game license for Friday the 13th as they truly deserve. The turn-based puzzles are a joy and the unlockable Jasons are as good as the level scenarios. Soundtrack is top notch too, a good mix of reusage from Slayaway Camp and new tracks.

I'm also a big fan of the new Daily puzzle mode, it adds replayability and is genuinly a fun addition to the game.

What confuses me is the new weapon grinding system, obviously there to support the F2P lootbox system put in place (that Friday the 13th license ain't free). Not sure if I'm a big fan of that, as essentially you're grinding for weapons - some you can only get from recipes which you use other weapons to craft.

If you were a fan of Slayaway Camp, this is probably the closest to a sequel we'll get.
