The gameplay is a natural evolution of the Wizardy series to this point, but the scenario and plot in general are everything I hate from this era of fantasy RPGs. I'm fine with games incorporating real world myths into their stories, or even using them as the backdrop as long as it feels well developed or is alluded to, but randomly dropping the river Styx under your castle is just stupid. Same goes for randomly slapping sci-fi on as the reason for anything in a world where Hobbits are a literal racial option.
