I prefer L4D1 but this one was also very good
the best co-op game to date, adding workshop support + left 4 dead 1 maps was a great call on valve's part

I certainly enjoyed the game, but I missed the point in the life cycle of this game when other people were playing it. I can imagine having as much fun with this title as I had playing zombies in Black Ops 1 and 2. Single player isn't where this game shines. Too bad...
Left 4 Dead 2 improves upon everything the original game did. The characters are far more engaging, the zombie types are carried over and the additions are a terrifying blast! A lot of people were upset that it was a whole new game just a year later, but I think the additions were worth it. Plus, you can play L4D1 campaigns in L4D2!
bought it to play with some friends. the customization steam workshop allows you is great, tho for some fking reason the game makes me feel nauseous after playing it for a while

In most aspects it's better than L4D1, but not in all. I prefer L4D1's campaigns, which weren't ported perfectly here. I also don't like how weapons are positioned too close to the center of the screen, unlike in L4D1.

Really fun game to play with friends, steam workshop adds a hell lot of fun to it, even the single player is quite enjoyable the first time you play the game.
This is a really exceptional game in and off itself. Everything is just really well done. Amazing with friends. I play it with a shit ton of add-ons but have seen it normally and it's still just as great. Goes on sale a lot, would recommend as a quick pick up for you/some friends.
