Pride mode is kino (playable on rpcs3 with a bit of work)

I liked it a lot, the stand up is really fun and I think the grappling mechanics are okay, although I don't know if I'm the one that didn't played enough with them to get used to them or if they're just too rigid. But I also liked how the "story" of the campaign emerges from the fights, not a big deal but I think it's fun. (played a modded version on RPCS3)

I put thousands of hours into this. I couldn't tell you how many. Gotta be a sickening number. An embarrassing number. We used to run tournaments in the dorm and I would win almost every single time. I was a god at this game. Never has their been any video game I've ever been as good at.

UFC Undisputed 3 still remains the best UFC game to date. It had the best simulation style game play and the best mixture of fun ground game/clinch work and stand up skill. It wasn't cheesy feeling on the ground like the EA versions and it didn't feel as arcadey in the stand-up. The roster was fairly deep.

The career mode was fun enough, but lots of repeat fights as fighters never aged out and new ones never replenished. This is the one thing deducting 0.5 stars from the rating. Multiplayer was amazing and could be played endlessly. Wildly entertaining. PRIDE FC fights were awesome too.

The definitive MMA experience and it absolutely still holds up compared to the EA UFC franchise (which only edges Undisputed 3 in graphics)
