this game on dreamcast is straight up etherial. an experience ill never forget.
Provavelmente o melhor jogo do Sonic que eu já joguei. Não botava muita fé em um Sonic 3D dos anos 90 não, mas até que ele tem seu charme (e uma pitada de memes).
O que impressiona é a variedade de tipos de fase, tendo algumas até com jogabilidades diferentes. O gráfico sim é meio estranho, temos algumas texturas abaixo do Play 1 (tipo os NPCs pedestres), e o Sonic mesmo, é todo torto.
A trilha sonora exclusiva de rockzin é massa demais, botei até no Spotify. O que cansa é ter que zerar umas 5 vezes para poder ver o final verdadeiro.
Mas no overall é algo muito bem feito e me deixa a pergunta do porque a qualidade da série caiu bizarramente.

Such a fire intro to 3D Sonic
The idea that Sonic had a rough transition to 3D is crazy to me when Sonic Adventure is sincerely a blast from beginning to end.
Is it flawed? Yeah, but it's also a fun little game with a lot of great ideas. I have a soft spot for SA1, and maybe I'll revisit this and expand on my thoughts further.

Esse jogo é literalmente um dos maiores marcos pra franquia. A OST é icônica, vemos pela primeira vez a divisão de campanhas com histórias separadas e a gameplay 2D baseada em velocidade foi transcrita pro 3D de forma estupenda.
Claro que o jogo é MUITO datado em vários aspectos, entretanto o charme dele é inigualável.
Não acredito que parei de jogar ele por causa daquele gato gordo sendo que a gameplay dele é só apertar X e A.

Beautiful game, lots of love put into this one.
Sonic Adventure has an energy like no other, the jump from Sonic & Knuckles to this is wild. It's not surprising that this game started life as an RPG, there's just so much here; 6 playable characters, each with their own interconnecting stories, a large hub world full of NPCs, a completely optional in-depth virtual pet system. And none of this is even touching on the actual levels.
Sonic’s levels have these big, multi-act structures, each act often having its own music, aesthetic, and gimmicks. There’s so much variety, so much spectacle, and the visuals and music are off the charts. In fact, Sonic’s levels are so sprawling and varied that every other character's levels are just small pieces of these ones.
This game was an achievement. Yeah, alot of it's jank and parts of it suck, but who cares? It slaps! And if you can't vibe with the jank in this game, then buddy, you need to lighten up.
Also, the fishing's bad, but if they didn't give Big the Cat such an obnoxious “stupid person” (ableist) voice in the english dub, he would be way less hated.

Jogão demais! A historia é muito boa, as musicas e cenários também, só o que peca é a jogabilidade da Amy e do Big, que tem o ponto de serem bem diferente para serem mais características dos personagens, mas são bem chatinhas de qualquer forma.

Peak
Had DX as a kid but never beat Emerald Coast but now I have the Dreamcast original and I think it's pretty good. Sometimes things like the camera can get rough but overall it's a chill experience. I do wish other characters' stories had a bit more to them but still Tails and Knuckles' adventures really shine. I hate Big the Cat though who thought fishing was a fun idea.
