When I was 12 I was playing this in the living room and somehow a plug got under my foot as I jumped and it sunk itself into my heel and I bled everywhere and passed out. My mum came downstairs, somehow didn't see the blood and just put a blanket on me and left me on the floor. This left me deeply traumatised and I haven't played DDR since.

Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix is... a Dance Dance Revolution game. It isn't bad, but it is very disappointing how most of the songs are just remixes of public domain stuff. It doesn't feel like they leaned into it being Mario enough... and unfortunately Nintendo didn't seem to learn any lessons from this game when Wii Music ended up having the same issues with the music selection years later.
