Before playing Final Fantasy X, I'd heard about people I knew about how good the game was, and, at the time, I wanted to get into the Final Fantasy series, so I played X as my starting point. Aside from a few minor problems I had with the story that popped up occasionally, I love this game's story. Tidus and Yuna's story is one of my favorite love stories of all time, and I love this party too, Auron being my favorite of the bunch (even though that's probably what a lot of people think). For a PS2 game, it also looks beautiful. I know the cutscenes are pre-rendered, but it doesn't change the fact that something like those cutscenes was made in 2001. I liked the turn-based system in this game too, along with the Sphere Grid. Beautiful game.

Eu queria, eu sinceramente queria muito não gostar deste jogo, é sério, eu sou um ávido crítico de sistemas de turno simplórios (este daqui sendo um deles), mas eu CANSEI de mentir pra mim mesmo.
Reconheço formalmente, eu GOSTEI do jogo. Não esperava, porque não é minha colher de chá esses RPGs mais tradicionais, muito menos Final Fantasy, com o qual tenho uma relação de amor e ódio.
O que me fez gostar dele? Bem, certamente não o combate, que é "funcional" no máximo. Nem a exploração, já que este toma um rumo mais linear.
Oque me atraiu de verdade é a direção, que faz um belo trabalho em vender aquela realidade pro jogador, os personagens são bons, e tem seus momentos, mas nada muito profundo, que fuja do arquétipo que esperamos desse tom, então não confunda com o roteiro.
Resumo, isso me fez sentir dentro de um filme da Disney, e as vezes faz bem se apegar a personagens altruísta e "cartunescos" ao invés do duro realismo que os jogos buscam almejar nos últimos anos.

Talvez eu volte para este jogo algum dia, mas, no momento, seu gameplay arrastado e com muito grind me impede de dar uma nota maior.
