It isnt a bad game, but i was expecting something like an undertale 2.

A phenomenal start to a game, with as much charm to it as its predecessor, Undertale.
While the general story feels far more generic, a simple story of chosen ones defeating evil (which gets expanded later on but still feels fairly basic to me) the characters more than make up for that, having such witty dialogue and emotion to them, perfectly intertwining it into the gameplay, having Susie's brashful nature at the start play into how you approach fights and being a pacifist (in my case) which blew me away, and also plays into her arc of becoming the hero, which is even visible from her sprites (which are all jazzed up with extra detail and expressiveness from their original Undertale counterparts). The combat feels just as fun as before while feeling more indepth and special with party members, giving more weight to fights. The split between the world above and the dark world are sweet, and hammers home the update to gameplay since the original.
The music is just as fantastic as it was before, also being much more layered and fuller sounding than Undertale's but feel a little less memorable sadly. This game has me dying for the rest to release soon
