A fun, simple and comfy Pokemon-like with a story that I would describe as a mix of Pokemon Adventures and Disgaea. Battles are rather easy though there were a number of occasions where I cheesed high level boss battles with moves that inflicted confusion as it's rather broken. I love the monster designs in this game though I think the roster (300+ monsters) is far too big considering the overall length of this game, the main story took me around 15 hours or so to finish, and then I poured some hours finishing the post game story and doing most of the post game stuff until I got bored and moved on. Overall, still a good time, although unfortunately there's an unflattering depiction of indigenous brown people less than halfway through the game.
