I like this much more than the other documentaries by Digital Eclipse. Atari and Jeff Minter story feel like game collections with some interviews attached to them.
This documentary follows a very well thought out arc. It may seem tedious to play four simple prototypes of a Asteroid clone that never got released, but that process really shows the development that happened to get to Karateka. You really get a very good understanding of the game and why it´s so important. It´s fewer games, but goes a lot deeper than their other works. Somehow it even feels more significant to play unpublished prototypes than full releases of Jeff Minter.
