An absolute classic, and for good reason. Atmospheric, fun, goofy, and very, very 90's fantasy, for better and for worse. Still a fantastic game with a fun world to explore. The story is quite interesting but delivered in a very simplistic manner. It is worth nothing that this game carries a lot of nostalgia for me, but even without it the gameplay and world are definitely there. Assemble a party, navigate cavernous, winding dungeons, and repel the Kreegan invasion. Paul Anthony Romeor's soundtrack alone elevates this game immensely. Try not to shout at villagers too much. Also, I once defeated a secret monster by trapping him in a corner and leaving a weight on the attack key.

technically completed lol. I loaded my mum's save file right before the end. since it was the first game I 'finished' I cried because I thought I could never play it again, how wrong I was.

still a great game, been playing with the World of Enroth mod that, among other things, modernises the controls and resolution to be playable today.

One of the first computer games I ever played. Unforgettable.
