A história é básica.

Probably my favorite 2D Zelda. The wall-walking mechanic is so fun and has some fun puzzle implementations. It is fun to find everything and while some of the dungeons may have some annoying mechanics (i.e. ice temple), it doesn't take away from the game as a whole. Highly recommend if you like the 2D Zeldas.

The first Zelda game I've ever pushed all the way through. The nonlinear approach allowed my adhd ass to tackle whatever I wanted when I wanted. I didn't 100% it and likely won't bother to do so, but I could see a revisit somewhere way down the road when my little guy is old enough to start playing games.
The best 2D Zelda by far
The Zelda Series had reached a point in the early 2010s where the formula was starting to get old, specially considering the lack of innovation the series had in the 2000s, and as much as I think that time was the peak of Zelda games, one day the series had to change, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds was the start of that.
The game embraces non linearity in a smart way, bringing innovation to the series while also staying true to its roots, in an even better way than BOTW did(BOTW is still better overall tho). This was a breath of fresh air after how obscenely linear Skyward Sword was.
The new mechanics are amazing, the double worlds mechanic are way better implemented than ALTTP, and merging into walls is really fun, both in puzzle solving and as a movement option.
It's also a pretty easy game to 100%, the heart pieces are all simple to find and some are really creative, and lots of the quests are really fun to do, specially the Maiamai collecting, which is my favorite collecting quest in the whole series
This is truly an amazing game that every Zelda fan should play.

This game is severely underrated. The next Zelda title will inevitably struggle for an identity in the shadows of both BOTW and the classic 3D Zelda games. I think learning from A Link Between Worlds is the best path forward for the Zelda series. This is the way to still do an “open world” Zelda game without alienating older fans.
Una secuela espiritual de "A Link To The Past".

This was a fun revisit. It's just as fun as I remembered, with stellar pacing and great dungeons with unique ideas. It looks great, feels great, all in all fantastic.
This play through was done in hero mode, which was dramatically harder than I expected. I died quite a lot, which gave much more value to the rental system than in normal mode, where you'd basically never die. Sometimes the difficulty is obnoxious, getting two shot by random bats that can fly in from offscreen and instantly take you out, or bosses with tricky patterns that really feel like they shouldn't take away 10 hearts. For the most part though, the higher difficulty feels very well thought out and fun.
Yea it's still the best 2d zelda game, although link's awakening remake is pretty sick too
