In the running for most misleading title of all time, but a sturdy beat-em-up power-trip that gives players a massive arsenal of moves that make tossing robots and monsters around a real treat.

Mechanics are the focus here, 100%, with the story and characters reading as cardboard flat across the board and the level designs and music echoing other competitors in the genre with little of their own identity.

Fourth GOTW finished for 2024. Surprisingly deep mechanics and combat options in this one, but the empty story and lack of any character depth kinda left it feeling boring.

A port of the arcade game Denjin Makai. Feels a little too easy at times, but the huge list of badass moves makes it consistently satisfying to smack dudes around. Worth revisiting, but for now I'm more interested in the Denjin Makai arcade games.
