I'll feel like echoing some of the other reviews here feels correct - it's Wii Sports but without the soul. I'm not sure exactly what achieved that, but it does feel lacking compared to the entries on the Wii.
I also think the variety of games didn't help. Bowling is a must and is still fun to play, but it does seem a little odd to have three different net games (Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball). I believe the experience would've been improved with some other options from games past (Baseball, Basketball, etc.)

Shit got me seething. Garbage ass game. They trying so hard to make some quick bullshit to take money from Wii nostalgia and it worked on me. I bought this bullshit thinking "Well at least they still got Miis. And they added new game modes and online." but damn this shit sucked. The new game modes are pretty inconsequential compared to Wii Sports and Resort. Plus it essentially has barley any single player content. It fully relies on you loving the multiplayer. Which I'll admit is fun for like a couple of hours. Nintendo do better. Billion dollar company.
It surprised me.
I’m going to get away from the comparison between this and wii games for a while.
You have to look deeply in this game to get the essence.
I bought it, played offline once or twice and just let it inside the case for the past months.
This weekend I was staying home and then I suddenly wanted to play it. Just to check it out. Played once or twice offline and then decided to play online.
And there it is my friends. This game was 100% made for an online experience. All the effort is here. They aimed for a modern online game. Kinda spicy from nintendo.
And it worked for me.
Played tons of golf, discovered that there is a ranked games system and here I am, enjoying a game that is good, but way different from Wii Sports.
Will they launch a switch sports resort for switch 2? Wouldn’t be a bad idea!
