amazingly underrated. I watched playthroughs of this game as a kid, and it has the most beautiful and heartfelt, nostalgic story ive played. This game sometimes felt like a dream because it didnt feel real to me.

The remake makes it even better, and the village is so much bigger and more detailed than ever. I'm surprised by how much detail they put into the village.

the relationship between the characters, the story the symbolism. its a game that is so worth it, if you're into the horror rpg nostalgia.

Koutarou is the sweetest guy ever

Another excellent RPG Maker game, and it's a remake! It started off a bit slow, at least to me, but once the plot really kicked off I couldn't put it down. The story isn't going to change your life, but there's enough there to draw you in and keep you; I especially loved the characters.

Side note, there is one puzzle toward the tail-end of the game that didn't get localized properly so I had to look for the solution as I can't read kanji, but not too bad. I'm pretty satisfied with the ending I got (shed a tear or two), but that pull to get something better is definitely there.

the original was good but this remake is REAL good. it adds so much and fixes the only real issue i had with the original [pacing]. it gives so much that you wouldnt have thought it needed. its solidddd.
