Esperava uma experiência dolorosa com este jogo, mas
não me desapontou.

Na verdade, foi uma grande surpresa saber que existia um porte de The Hobbit para o Game Boy Advance, e assim que comecei a campanha, logo me vieram as comparações com a versão de PS2/PC.

-Primeiro: As dungeons aqui são bem diferentes da versão principal;

-Segundo: Os chefes também diferem um pouco, tendo até mesmo alguns originais;

-Terceiro: A jogabilidade mais simplificada similar a um The Legend of Zelda de GBA.

A história é aquela que todos conhecem, nada a comentar sobre este assunto.

No geral, é um game agradável, principalmente pra quem gosta desse universo de Senhor dos Anéis e é também um porte honesto e bem criativo assim dizendo.

great:
-it's the hobbit; in terms of adaptation, decent
-art & animation in general
-can be entertaining at times; the dwarves in the sack was cute
-world map was really interesting to look at as they travelled from place to place

improve:
-needs more ost that fits each place, not repeated
-drowning mechanic makes my nerve explode
-map to cut down tedious wandering esp in mirkwood
-inventory gui; needs INFO for the items. they do not tell you nearly anything of what the items can do in-game
-it's clear that the game is rushing lmao; they'd rather have you spend a long time wandering rather than have a substantial conversation with gollum
-put names when somebody's speaking ffs only bombur and thorin have different sprite art
-whats the point of tokens if you can't buy shit in this game
-a lot of dead end rooms in both towns and the wild. and for what?
-mobs respawning after every reload of rooms; but this i can forgive cuz a lot of old games are like this

replay value: moderately low; i finished this once and somewhat enjoyed it at least, but I don't think there's anything more to find if I played it again, except for nostalgia after a few years have passed

this one's kinda cool, they managed to fit the whole story on the cartridge. i played through it several times as a kid. nothing more than a clenodium now, though.

A fine, although cryptic game, I think it's kinda cool actually.
