Yes it's a licensed kids game, but this game seemed like it had potential to be better than it turned out. There really isn't much room for exploration and you're mostly on a set linear path, even though the game seems to be open world. The powers and upgrades seem nice, but are mostly pointless. Ultimately the game isn't anything spectacular.
It's a kid's game so I went into it with the mindset that it'll probably be a very simple and easy game and it pretty much was that. Was fine overall, just nothing spectacular.
Good reviews brought me to this game and I was gladly surprised. It’s a good 3D platformer with great level design and gorgeous visuals. It’s short but leaves room for completionists. Don’t judge this book by its cover.
