oh, Urbz. I’ll always give you the credit for trying to appeal to a demographic way out of your reach by creating a game you had no idea how to make.

um the sims muito diferente, mas desceu leve como todos os the sims. Classico do ps2

funny & silly but suffers from incredible lag on the PS2. with a lot of loading screens it's very hard to stay so immersed. maybe i'll try it again on a different console, or dump my game to computer.

Played this at a friend's house when I was 8 but we quit because we couldn't stop arguing over which one of us would date the hot black lady

I think the main thing that hampers this games quality isnt really the funny Black Eyed Peas stuff or like the generally boomer perspective on culture - I think its the fact that building was stripped down and put in limbo, really reducing the main appeal of The Sims imo.

Somethin' about this game awakened me as a child. This game's got style, baybee.

It's a spin on The Sims series with a serious dose of funk. I really love this era of console Sims where they broke formula and gave you different game mechanics to navigate through various campaigns. They'll never be better than the mainline series, but they're fun in their own right and this is one of the better spin-offs for me.

The story here isn't anything that'll wow you, and it's technically never ending, but it's still fun nonetheless. It can feel repetitive after a while, but it's relatively short. You'll start off as a complete nobody, traversing the urban landscape and meeting different cliques full of their own personalities and style of clothing. The different music for each location gives each area it's own vibe. It's an idea that I wish they would have tried again, or at least expanded on. It would be fantastic to see all these styles blended together with the tools we have today and with more options.

The only weird thing to me is that once you achieve greatness, styling yourself using different clothes from different areas for some reason makes you a pariah from the other Sims. I feel like if I become cool enough to obtain a luxurious party pad apartment, I should be able to dress how I want.

This game is also the closest you will ever be to The Black Eyed Peas. I guess, unless you actually like their music enough to see them live. WELL, they're in this game and so is their music (In Simlish). Do with that what you will.

The sims, if it was in the city. And also not that good

O jogo é muito divertido e cheio de personalidade mas se torna repetitivo depois de um tempo....ainda é melhor que the sims 4 ;)

validating nonbinary tea since 2004

The Black Eyed Peas "Let's Get it Started" simlish remix is one of the most cursed things ever.

The Black Eyed Peas being in this game is one thing but this is a transportation back to the early 2000s in the most stylized version of The Sims YET.

sims + the black eyed peas... what more could u possibly want

I was so obsessed with this when I was a child
