I LOVE THIS GAME AHAHHHHHHH

in some ways better than mario party

Better than playing Monopoly on a console, though not by much.

A bit like Mario Party, but without the bad part (the minigames) and with a LOT of the good part (becoming violently angry due to bullshit rolls and cheating AI)

It's important that we remember Platypunk's role in the subprime mortgage crisis.

No notes. Play Fortune Street 2.

this game actually puts me to sleep so aggressively fast

I'm one of the few people that got interested on this because of the DQ rappresentation rather than Mario.
Stick with Mario Party if you dislike Dragon Quest and Monopoli.

In all the times I played this I have never lost a game once. I am unstoppable.

I’m not typically a fan of board game games, but this one will always have a special place in my heart. Sort of a Monopoly derivative, this takes everything that makes that game such a slog to set up and keep track of, and makes it all automatic, adding more content and mechanics that straight digital ports of monopoly lack depth in. I’ve sunk many hours in this game over the years, and it’s one I keep coming back to; even playing by myself with CPUs is a joy. I will say, if you’ve played this game enough, the objective beats sort of start getting repetitive; owning a whole district is sort of broken, and becomes its own win condition, but sometimes fate doesn’t roll in your favor, so every game is a new day. I love how casually this is a Mario x Dragon Quest crossover, and I love all its idiosyncratic charm.

Square, please remember this series exists.

the peak of the already great wii party scene

Having trouble? Just roll better.

What a cool board game with some Mario and Dragon Quest love in the mix

Got really interested in this game when KH: Birth by Sleep came out because it had a whole minigame thing that was literally this! Me and my neighbor finally got it years later and it was a bunch of fun. Like if monopoly was good!

my friends always got bored when we played this and we switched to mario party or dokapon but goddamn I LOVE THIS GAME! nobody will change my opinion, none of u boring non fortune street fans!

It feels kind of wrong to give it a low rating because the game is Nintendo Monopoly which is awesome. I guess it’s a product of me just playing better games I had a better time with

It's monopoly....but way more fun! I also love the characters bashing each other!

Fortune Street is simply Monopoly on Wii with a Mario and Dragon Quest skin. It's a fun game, though trying to unlock everything will become a chore. Game is at its most fun with friends, though the game themselves will be long. Only put on retired because I also have many other games to play and beat.
