i remember this game being sooo hyped up when i was younger, but when i actually played it, it was SO fucking boring
SOOOOOO much fun with friends. Can't play anymore because I have an Xbox Series S now which doesn't take discs, but I have tons of fun memories with it

Just a bit aimless, really. It asks you to run around its worlds to find new kinds of bricks and 'discoveries', but outside of that, there's nothing to do here, it's just pointless.
So the exploration in this open-world game sucks, but what about the building? After all, the game lets you build with virtual LEGO bricks. Well, that is incredibly limited. There are no technic peaces, there's no way to make custom Minifigures or vehicles and you can't even place bricks on their side.
If you want to build with digital LEGO, you're better off installing the free BrickLink Studio.

A good idea executed in mediocre fashion.
The low ratings are just kids not getting past the 3 tutorial worlds. This is one of my favourite games and is an absolute blast AFTER the 3 tutorial worlds.
