Having played through the PS4 remaster several times already, I was curious as to how much of a different experience I would get with this PS5 remaster- I wouldn't necessarily say it's worth the $70 if you've already played the remaster, or even played it on the original PS3, since there were numerous times I've seen visual bugs on this remaster, whereas I've encounter very little to none on the PS4 remaster. I'd really only recommend this to those who have not played the first game in any capacity, and want to get into the series. But even then, the PS4 remaster is still available to play on the PS5
Easily one of the greatest stories ever written for any media, I'll remember not just Joel and Ellie, but even the side characters, locations and themes for years to come. The gameplay, while slightly outdated, still held up so well through two playthroughs, and the remake having possibly the greatest graphics in any game makes this a must play. Just got the platinum a couple weeks ago after some months of procrastinating and all the hidden notes from survivors (or not) of the apocalypse made the lore even better than it was through the environmental storytelling.
wow ummm there really aren't any complains i could make about this game (except for the optimizitation but that ain't really the game's fault). Solid story, Solid characters, Solid gameplay (I'm really surprised with all the gameplay features it had for a game that was originally made in 2013). A Solid 10/10 MUST PLAY.

A really good zombie stealth story game
I could talk about how perfect the story, characters, gameplay or setting is but you've already heard that a million times. All I'll say is that The Last of Us is an experience I will never forget
Diferente da história impecável, alguns aspectos tecnicos pecam um pouco. A IA ridicula dos inimigos é o que mais irrita, e a otimização pra pc é ofensiva.
Estou finalmente jogando e finalizando depois de 7 anos. Em 2016 tinha jogado em um PS3 emprestado, não gostei tanto na época e nem cheguei a finaliza-lo, mas jogando hoje em 2023 percebo que realmente é muito bom.
Gostei muito de como Joel e Ellie vão se aproximando, é muito orgânico e sutil, a jornada é muito emocionante e cativante com diálogos muito bons. Todos os personagens que aparecem, mesmo os que tem pouco tempo de tela são marcantes, são muito bem trabalhados na trama, o meu favorito foi Bill, simplesmente adoro esse personagem. O final, apesar de deixar um gosto amargo, é absurdo. A ambientação pós apocalíptica é incrível, até nos dias de hoje é difícil ver jogos com esse tema capricharem tanto nesse quesito, as mecânicas e os gráficos são de cair o queixo.
As coisas que me desagradaram foram poucas: Primeiramente o PÉSSIMO port pra PC, que fez o meu jogo crashar umas 50 vezez(sem exagero) e gerou alguns bugs durante a gameplay, chegando a desanimar de jogar as vezes. Outra coisa que não me agradou tanto foi a parte da neve, a cena final é muito emocionante e um dos melhores clímax do jogo, mas aquela ''boss fight'' achei muito forçada e sem sentido, fora esses 2 detalhes, gostei de tudo no jogo.
Revisitar TLOU foi uma das melhores decisões que tomei, mesmo que tenha sido bem desconfortável joga-lo no PC.

This game was frickin epic. I absolutely needed this ps5 crack dream. The graphics alone were enough to make me empty my wallet for the game. Even though I have already played through the original story, this game does the original justice by remapping the way it looks, feels, and even sounds. All of the graphical enchantments aside this story had a very special place in my heart, it touches my heart in all of the right places. The story is driven by two characters who both learn equally valuable lessons along the way both stemming off of humanity. The simplicity of the gameplay makes it a very easy game to pick and even harder to put it back down. I remember my first playthrough I found myself telling myself “one more” a little more than I’m comfortable admitting to. I will say I incredibly biased when it comes to these games but that should not diminish this games amazing value. Joel and Ellie’s story has never felt more real and I’m here for it!! I definitely recommend this game to ANYONE who thoroughly enjoys video games, I promise it will be a journey you will never forget.
I didn't like the character of eloj, he was a cool evil twin I guess but the execution of the dynamic electron of the character was done more poorly than in huggy wuggy 5

Finished the last of us remake. Still a good game! Definitely showing its age in just how linear it and how gamey the levels are (and the "puzzles" my god), and it's more tropey than I realised when I was 20, but man that ending still hits like a truck.
Perfect remake for a perfect game.

It’s good
This story completely revolutionized what I thought was even possible for a game to do. I cannot even begin with how absorbed I am in this masterpiece, it's set a completely new standard for story-telling in games for me. The gameplay was also shockingly good for what I was expecting. Incredible title, deserves all the praise it has and more. Iconic.
Not my favorite game of all time, like most people would probably say, it has it’s flaws, most namely; the gameplay isn’t that great, but it has a damn great story with exceptional character development between Ellie and Joel, the show is better tho

Loved the updated graphics, such a wonderful game to enjoy again on the updated console.
The performance is terrible. I wasn't expecting this port to be this poor compared to the other playstation ports that are light-years in the future in terms of "it just works." Don't even get me started with that lying checkmark on the steam deck that's a whole other discussion entirely. On windows it suffers on so many different combinations of hardware that are incredibly similar to the recommended specs. It hurts my eyes tryna play a game that claims to be a remake but looks worse than the original ps3 title.
