play it, this isn't negotiable

Put a video or music on and turn brain off fun thumbs up

This game is mindless, in the best way possible. The whole game can be played just using the analog stick (besides hitting A for menu selections).
Love putting on a podcast, or a tv show and playing this while listening/watching. Tons of unique characters to unlock, each with their own unique ability

When i got told the guy that made this use to work in casinos and all that everything clicked IMMEDIATELY to me why this game is the way it is. It's like pure sugar, it's pure dopamine rush from getting the upgrades and shredding through enemies
PLAYABLE bubblewrap popping practically, i havent even played as every single character in the game but its so addictve and unlocking new shit is always fun and it always feels like you're Technically after a seemingly everlasting goalpost but also that there's always enough happening and going on to the point where i dont even really care! i havent even tried the co-op! i heard there's no online co-op for this though which really sucks :( smthin to rectify later down the line i guess
I think the biggest thing tht holds this game for me is how youre kinda just holding your analog stick the whole time in whatever direction to turn until you get an upgrade and actually need to click something
this KINDA has it count as a clicker game, like one of those cookie clicker things?? but idk this feels way more like im not just sittin my ass down doin Absolutely nothing
you could call this a time waster though if you really reduce it and look at it like that, i wont fight u on shit but i think its a fun game esp for how much content is there

I think the most specific compliment I can give the game is two things, the fact that there's not excessively overpriced DLC going on in tandem with how there's so much of this that Screams "mobile game" but is only ever having you go off of the ingame currency and coins youre collecting so nobodys real life wallet is being shook down. It's a self contained addictive nature to the game really

and the fact that they got a trans woman witch in this game and i dont even feel like playing her much because the among us crewmate characters are so fucking fun. like giovanna's cats are Ok but girl why would i give a fuck when I can have a keycard swiping attack that evolves into the wires connecting minigame that makes me have nigh biblical god levels of mowing enemies unscathed
Like whoever was the brain behind the crewmate movesets, ESPECIALLY the engineer. thats some powerful shit. thats how you know its crack.

I mean clickers are a thing and I guess this is a good clicker?
Anyways the fact that the dude who made the game has only worked for casinos before this makes me think the world is doomed.

It's bizarre how addictive this game is. This is simply one of the best roguelites I've ever played, keeping the player hooked with its progression system. The only thing I missed in this game is the lack of online co-op (it only has local). I hope they implement it someday.

I'm not gonna lie, I both really want to like and hate this game due to it's design. The idea for a roguelike with item synergies that deals directly with damage numbers on a 2D plane with a fitting progression curve sounds great. Gathering only 2 items for most synergies and becoming broken quickly, the flashy lights and sound effects ripped from an arcade machine at Vegas, and the overreliance on luck for synergy makes this game a slog and a pain. Every time I think "that's it, this game has gone too far and I've made a decision on it", I then begrudgingly play another 40+ minute game. 2 stars for a failed vision, because all of these qualities fundamentally work to serve the base idea for the gameplay, which unfortunately boils down to walk in a circle for 30 minutes and wait during animations.

This is really a game that just constantly has you improving every few minutes so the urge to keep playing becomes dangerously high. There's no down times or pace-breaking story, it's just pure arcadey fun but with a huge progression chain, so unlike large amounts of arcade games you still feel like you're aiming for something beyond a high score.

It's actually quite impressive how much content there is (of course I am playing a few years into the games life). It looks very empty at first, only 4 characters? Then you unlock a new one and it brings up many more. Then you unlock a secret character and it shows all the other secret characters. You're constantly unlocking new weapons and stages, the former of which is always fun to try and experiment with and see what evolves with what. While most of the stages are fairly plain, there's some fun gimmicky ones, like the newly added minecart stage, a stage based on Green Hill Zone with blocks similar to the special stages in that game which break after a certain amount of hits etc.

There's a lot of player-selected difficulty and challenges to be made by turnign on and off certain settings - no matter how much you upgrade, there's always an option to turn it all off to play as if starting a brand new game. But at the same time you can break the game in half by working out how to effectively farm golden eggs to create a character so powerful nothing can even touch you.

I found out this was supposedly made by someone using gambling psychology, except of course without the whole debt part. I'd love to see more vices be made into things that don't have their downsides, how about video games without the extreme time loss? 🤭

I guess as far as issues go, there's not many bosses that really do anything. Most of them just float around like any other enemy and try to overlap with your sprite to take you out. Towards the endgame there's definitely a sense that progression has slowed down - you're just playing to play now. While there's still stuff to unlock, you've already discovered the perfect item combos and can make a build to get you through pretty much anything, so a new item is at best worth a try or two, but lacks that excitement you get early on.

Very fun and massive amount of content for its price. Also a pretty good soundtrack.

Really good. 0 replayability after a while though

I can survive like, 32 minutes tops, then it's just blood and I melt and shit. Horrible.

game fells good cuz im stupid, i should not be enjoying this game, i once sat playing this game for 5 hourst straight, then went to the gym, felt like shit. do not recommend. better brotato

Pretty fun mindless action that feels like it inspired a whole fleet of similar games. Just gets a bit boring in my opinion.

Pouca coisa me incomoda nesse jogo.

If I could summarize this in one word, it's "bland". It's not bad or anything but it's the equivalent of eating a slice of white bread with nothing on it. I struggle to understand how this game has such raving reviews on Steam (97-98% positive)

walking around in circles forever, this game has no right being this good

Abandoned due to photosensitivity warning

extremely addicting amazing progression great game

I simply love this game, it helps me unwind a bit when I get overwhelmed from life stuff! I got 100% completion on Steam and I am unlocking the last characters of Emergency Meeting while waiting for Operation Guns!

I have completed every single achievement and I really love to complete the extra few when they realese an update (wich they do quite often) and also to buy every single dlc when it comes out, the only thing I wish was that the collabs dlcs would have achievements

really funny game.

Primarily about sensation -- making a winning build is pretty trivial after the initial unlocks. But everything is really fun! The builds are goofy, the every player's first run getting hit by a 80mph 100 bat semi truck from off screen is a crowd pleaser, etc.

Cocaine as video game, specially when you unlock the doggie

(Brotato is better, I guess)

Vampire survivors is still a good "I need to move my fingers" game, but slower, with a larger map and without a wave system.

Better than drugs, but wait... maybe this game is a digital drug?
