Goddam what a deliciously sloppy cocktail of horror, action and exploration. Just when your body can't take any more of the game's scares it does a great job of ramping your power up to boost your confidence. Expertly paced to a tee (more short games please!) and a joy throughout.

Also the level designers for this game deserve some kind of McArthur Genius grant cuz holy shit there are parts where you just want to stop and look at every single little detail crammed into the environment. It's truly amazing.

It's up there with 4 as their greatest work that's for sure.
