This game is 3 years in the making to get 100% completed. I originally started Assassin's Creed Origins back in 2020 when Covid was at it's peak. My younger brother was actually the reason why I started playing this game as he had just started a play through himself a few days prior to me starting. We would actively compare where we were in the game, but he held roughly a 15-hour lead against me that he never let up.

Since we both were doing nothing during this time and couldn't really go anywhere due to the mandates, we both would play this from the time we woke up, until the time we went to sleep. I completed the main story about a week and a half after starting, but my brother was already over half-way through the second DLC when I finally gave up. I was 107.1 hours into the game at this point.

I didn't actually come back to the game until this past week when I was looking for another game to play. I figured, why not finally complete this game after a three year hiatus? Now, here we are. It took me 25.4 hours to play through both DLC's finally 100% completing the game after 132.5 hours of play time.

This game is the introduction into the "new style" of Assassin's Creed games and was considered a great success in being able to do something different compared to the original Assassin's Creed formula that was present from the first installment of the game all the way to Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag. Because of this success, both Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Assassin's Creed Valhalla followed the same formula and were successes, with Assassin's Creed Odyseey being considered the best of the new formula. Now Assassin's Creed Rogue is being released later this year.

If you like a more RPG style of Assassin's Creed, but still has similar stealth and parkour elements, then this is a good game for you to try out.
