I've only dabbled in the multiplayer and Warzone (not my thing), but this campaign is among the absolute best for an FPS that I have ever played. In a tight six hours, it provides so much incredible mission variation, a memorable crew of characters, and an engaging, emotionally affecting, and challenging (that torture scene OMG) story. I'm a huge fan of war films and this is the closest I've ever felt to playing one of the movies. But instead, it felt like I was playing numerous of them. Parts of one feel like "Zero Dark Thirty", another feels like "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi", yet another feels like "Hyena Road", and you know there's some "Black Hawk Down" in there, as well. I loved using the drones to deliver bomb attacks, the laser targeting, the sniping, the run and gun switching between automatic burst fire and silenced head shots. If this is what the rest of the CoD campaigns are gonna be like, you can count me in on day one going forward.
