Perfectly adequate I guess? The game was funded by Kickstarter and boy does it show. It is utterly beholden to its fanbase. It has no desire to move the franchise forward in any meaningful way and seems wholly content in whacking the player over the head repeatedly with nostalgia and fanservice.

All of this would be fine if the writing was on a par with the first two games, or if it had the same ambition and cinematic flair of the third, but it's quite stale in those regards. Still, it follows the standard point & click adventure mould of BR1 and BR2, and as such has some fairly satisfying puzzles, which is a lot more than you can say for BR4, which has pretty much nothing going for it.
