Super Princess Peach feels like a solid entry in the overall spectrum of Mario franchise platformers. Art is great, theming is fun, and peach plays like a charm - not to mention she's got plenty of character that gives the game life.
The "vibes" (as they called the emotion based abilities) were a bit lack-luster - game mechanics-wise they're all fun, but in the level design their usage is pretty shallow most of the game. Maybe they just didn't want to overcomplicate things, but I never felt clever using them; each ability can be summarized as a key that unlocks the next area of a level.
Overall, this game feels like a solid attempt to be the first Mario franchise game for a new generation of gamers. It's pretty easy without too much complexity, even for folks that want to 100% it.
