The characters, voice cast, graphics, and music are all sublime. Unfortunately the story and gameplay have some major pacing problems that put a damper on my enjoyment of them. Too much content that feels like padding and repetitive gameplay that's only tolerable because the combat is so utterly fantastic. I think this is a textbook example of story and gameplay being at odds instead of working together.
